Welcome to
Whitlock Junior High School
Home of the Warriors
Welcome to Whitlock Jr. High School. Our successes at Whitlock will be determined by our willingness to adapt to change and our determination to succeed in all areas of our lives. We will respect ourselves, others, and be responsible for our own behavior at all times. At Whitlock, parents, administrators, teachers, staff, and the community, expect all students to develop successful habits. These habits will help our students become successful adults in the future.
Our students are the best when they do their best.
Mr. C. E. Redmond, Principal
WHITLOCK PLEDGE
I want to trust and be trusted,
To respect my fellow students, staff, and myself,
I want to be a good citizen, fair and just,
For I am the future;
and I want my future to have all of these things.
ALMA MATER
Proudly standing on the hillside
High above the trees
Reflecting faith and living knowledge
Happy memories.
In our hearts we'll always hold you
As our guiding star.
We pledge to thee our deep devotion
Where'er on earth we are.
Hail to thee, our Alma Mater
You we'll love and glorify.
Be our guiding light forever
Whitlock Junior High.
Hail Whitlock Junior High!
THE WARRIOR
To Native Americans, a warrior is amongst the "bravest of the brave." A warrior seeks wisdom--learned through a balance of formal learning and worldly experiences. To be a warrior, one must have mental and spiritual strength, in addition to obvious physical strength. With these, they remain prepared to overpower the enemy and face their obstacles head-on.
